My name is Kasey! But my friends call me Kase.

I am married to the UPS guy…We’ve made two gorgeous babies together, and we have plans to have 3 or 4 more! Being a mama is the greatest joy of my life. I love my babies more than anything in the world. I proudly call myself a crunchy mama and love learning about how we can live our lives as holistically and naturally as we can…but we’ll still roll through Taco Bell from time to time so we’re not perfect. I am a birth junkie and can talk about natural birth and how damn incredible our bodies are for days - I’ve done it twice and can’t wait to do it again!

Most days you can find us searching for the best ice cream in town, sitting on our couch binging far too much Netflix, kissing the cheeks on our little ones, playing cards,, exploring a national park and living our best life! We love exploring the outdoors and happen to live in (what is in our opinion) the most beautiful place on earth - Colorado Springs! We live at the base of Pikes Peak and though some days we take the view for granted, it NEVER gets old! We love camping and sitting by a fire with some good brews and great friends. And nothing is better than having people in our home for a good homemade meal and shared laughter.

I am here for YOU. I love the heck out of the couples I get to serve. I want you to have the best experience in the world working with me. I am so damn passionate about serving my couples and giving you the photos of your dreams.

I want to get to know YOU. If I’m going to tell your story, part of that is being friends and getting to know you. What makes you you; what makes your heart come alive. What leaves you in awe and breathless; what you dislike and can’t stand, your favorite things and least favorite things. How you met and why you fell in love, and why you are choosing to make this thing a forever kind of love. I want to get tacos and margs with you, laugh together, and get to know you both!

I don’t want to barely know you by the time I’m sticking a camera in your face. I want you to feel like you have a good friend with you on your day, capturing it alllllll! The relationship we build leading up to your wedding is the groundwork for the magic we make together.

I am NOT AT ALL about posing you and making sure everything looks perfect and in order. I want to make real moments happen so that your most authentic self can shine through. I want you to feel like you are on a date where you get to focus on each other. Flirt with your person, play with them, make out, get real close and cozy. Forget that I’m even there and MAKE THE FREAKIN’ MAGIC HAPPEN!

I am not just a photographer. I am here to serve you in any way that I can on your big day, and leading up to it.

Need someone to carry your train or shoes as we walk from one location to the next? There. Need coffee real bad cause you were up to 4 am the night before writing your vows? Tell me your order, Babe! If you need to take a shot to help calm your nerves, we gotchu. Heck, I’ll do a shot with you! I make sure you pee before you put on your dress, and that you are eating and getting plenty of water during the day! I am there to help fix ties and put on boutonnieres. To make sure you get to sneak away for a little bit to be together, just the two of you, basking in your best day ever. Getting married is a lot of work and I am here to serve the mess out of you.

My husband and I have a crazy goal to visit every national park!

What is my favorite ice cream flavor?

It’s a tossup between chocolate chip cookie dough and Tillamook mudslide!

What TV show can I not get enough of?

My comfort shows that are on a repeat loop are Jane the Virgin, Schitt’s Creek and New Girl!

What am I doing when I’m not working?

Being a full time stay at home mama to my two tiny humans, sneaking in a nap where I can, eating ice cream and exploring the mountains!

How did I decide to become a photographer?

I have had a camera in my hand since I was a kid. It wasn’t until my husband and I got into a terrible car crash that I decided I didn’t want to leave my dreams to die with me and I bought a camera and started this adventure! I was terrible when I first started and almost quit, but I am so glad I didn’t!

I found Moose and Bear through Instagram and completely fell in love with Kasey’s style and knew she was THE photographer! We came to Colorado for our honeymoon from Oklahoma after our (very) small wedding. We had our session on the final day of our trip and it was absolutely incredible. There are too many GREAT things I could say about Moose and Bear Photography. She has taken our pictures a few times now and I’m wowed every time.
